Responsibilities:- Prepare and produce food items in a commissary kitchen setting according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating food inventory and supplies
- Package and label food products accurately for distribution or service
- Follow all food safety and handling protocols in compliance with health regulations
- Support kitchen staff with prep work, portioning, and batch cooking as needed
- Monitor and report low stock levels or equipment issues to management
Requirements:- Prior experience in a commissary, commercial kitchen, or food production environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent food quality
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, or varying shifts as needed
