Forklift / Inventory Operator
Location: Milpitas, CA 95035
Contract Period: 3 months with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $ 21.00 hour
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We are seeking an experienced Forklift / Heavy Machine Operator to safely move, load, unload, and organize materials within a warehouse or facility. The ideal candidate must have forklift certification, experience selecting inventory, and a background in inventory management.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Current forklift certification required
- Experience with inventory selection/picking
- Experience in inventory management
- Must be fully cleared prior to start
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow safety instructions
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely transport materials throughout the facility.
- Move materials between loading, processing, storage, and designated work areas.
- Load, unload, transport, and stack materials using forklifts and lifting equipment.
- Manually or mechanically handle materials from pallets, skids, and boxes.
- Select inventory accurately and maintain proper inventory organization.
- Secure materials and products for transportation.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Perform equipment inspections and report any safety or operational issues.
