Mechanical Engineer - EIT

Locations: Boise, ID | Denver, CO | Sacramento, CA | Remote with Travel
Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote for local candidates

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join a growing mechanical engineering team supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 3–5 years of experience who wants exposure to a variety of project types, strong mentorship, and clear opportunities for growth. Projects include retail, office, higher education, aviation, quick-service restaurants, and other commercial facilities.

• Design and support HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial building projects.

• Work with equipment such as air handling units, chillers, cooling towers, and compressors.

• Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, system layouts, and technical documentation.

• Develop and coordinate designs using Revit and Bluebeam.

• Support construction documents, submittals, RFIs, and construction administration.

• Participate in site visits and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

• Work closely with senior engineers while taking on increasing project responsibility.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Approximately 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience.

• Commercial building experience strongly preferred.

• Hands-on Revit experience required; Bluebeam experience highly preferred.

• HVAC and plumbing design experience.

• FE/EIT certification preferred.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and client-service skills.

• Positive attitude, growth mindset, and willingness to step up.

Remote candidates may be considered if they can travel approximately 1–3 days per month for site visits and office collaboration.
