Machine Operator 3rd Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 PM–6:00 AM

Digital Room is hiring experienced production employees for our third-shift team in Arlington, TX.

We’re looking for dependable employees with hands-on manufacturing and machine-operation experience who take initiative, pay attention to quality, and can complete assigned work with minimal supervision once trained on our processes.

This role includes machine operation, finishing, packing, and preparing products for shipping. Team members rotate between assignments based on department needs. The right candidate is comfortable changing tasks, keeping work moving, and communicating when an issue requires support.

Training will be provided on Digital Room’s specific equipment and procedures.

• Operate assigned large-format printing, cutting, and finishing equipment after completing equipment-specific training.

• Read work orders and follow production priorities to complete assignments accurately and on time.

• Load materials into equipment and perform machine setup and adjustments within your training.

• Monitor equipment operation and inspect products throughout production.

• Perform scheduled color and image-quality checks where applicable.

• Identify equipment, material, or quality problems and promptly communicate issues to management.

• Perform routine cleaning and scheduled maintenance within your training.

• Rotate between machine operation, finishing, packing, and shipping tasks as department needs change.

• Pack and seal printing products in the appropriate boxes according to product size and order quantity.

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials accurately.

• Verify products, quantities, and shipping labels.

• Use company computer systems to review orders and record production information.

• Communicate assignment progress, production issues, and unfinished work to management and the incoming shift.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.

• Follow safety procedures and immediately report workplace hazards.

• Assist with other production duties as assigned.

• At least one year of manufacturing or production experience that includes hands-on machine operation.

• Experience following work orders, monitoring product quality, and meeting production deadlines.

• Ability to consistently work Monday–Friday, 9:30 PM–6:00 AM.

• Dependable attendance and follow-through on assigned responsibilities.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after equipment-specific training.

• Initiative to keep assignments moving and communicate when ready for the next task.

• Flexibility to move between equipment operation, finishing, and packing duties.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance.

• Ability to recognize production problems and determine when to contact management for support.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and management.

• Comfort using computers and learning production systems.

• Strong attention to detail and time management.

• Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely after required training.

• Printing, large-format production, cutting, or finishing equipment.

• Working an overnight production shift.

• Completing production assignments with limited direct supervision.

• Training coworkers or serving as an experienced resource on a production team.
