Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 4 Days/Week | 12 Hours/Shift | 48 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $52 – $55/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Stepdown RN to provide direct nursing care, monitor complex cardiac patients, and manage cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
AHA BLS and ACLS Certifications.
NIH Certification.
Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience.
Strong Cardiac Stepdown nursing experience.
Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia management.
Successful completion of required Medication and Arrhythmia examinations.
Ability to work night shifts.
36-hour or 48-hour schedules accepted.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Cardiac Stepdown unit.
Monitor patients with complex cardiac conditions and identify changes in clinical status.
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize arrhythmias.
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility protocols.
Perform comprehensive assessments and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac telemetry, oxygenation, and other clinical parameters.
Respond promptly to changes in cardiac rhythm and patient condition.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide patient and family education regarding cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
Document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses accurately in EPIC.
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
Maintain required certifications and complete medication and arrhythmia competency examinations.
