We are seeking a Fork Lift Operator to join our dynamic team supporting The ideal candidate will have experience with safe forklift operation, warehouse processes, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) data entry, along with the ability to move, track, and stage materials accurately while meeting safety and quality standards. This role rotates across first, second, and third shifts every two weeks.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and professionally, including in tight or confined spaces.
- Complete and maintain accurate forklift inspections.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of assigned forklifts.
- Use the WMS to track material locations and enter data accurately and promptly.
- Perform sampling, inventory counts, scale reading, and general warehouse cleaning.
- Load and unload transport vehicles with quality packages during seed delivery and return seasons.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse.
- Follow safety standards and emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to count inventory accurately and read scales.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance as scheduled.
- Enthusiastic, honest, respectful, and dependable approach to work.
- Ability to rotate across all three shifts every two weeks: 1st shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM ($19.50); 2nd shift, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM ($22.50); and 3rd shift, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM ($21.50).
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of forklift experience.
- At least one year of warehouse experience.
- Prior forklift certification.
