Distribution Center Operations Manager, Inbound-Inventory-Outbound

EHC is seeking a hands-on leader to run warehouse operations for a high-velocity distribution environment in the Beaumont, TX area. As Operations Manager, you’ll own inbound flow, inventory control, outbound shipping, and a safety-first cultureensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll rely on Microsoft Office and internally built tools to orchestrate activity in a fast-paced setting that fulfills thousands of orders each year.

From the first receiving truck to the last outbound trailer, you coordinate people, processes, and equipment to hit service, quality, and cost targets. You coach managers and associates, meet with warehouse leads to analyze performance, and turn insights into clear action plans that boost productivity and prevent loss.

• Full warehouse oversight: quality assurance, inventory control, space utilization, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
• Team scheduling and workload management to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime while meeting fulfillment center demand.
• Routine inspection of equipment, tools, and machinery; coordinate and oversee maintenance.
• Regular performance huddles with warehouse leads to review results and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
• Model and communicate Core Valuesbuild trust and respect, form strong partnerships, and drive measurable results.
• Coach, train, and develop managers and associates on operational best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Operations.
• Supervise warehouse personnel to maintain precise inventory records.
• Champion continuous improvementquestion the status quo, measure what matters, and advance every process.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
• Provide direction to a team of managers; set goals, define expectations, and cultivate a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Evaluate facility performance through reports and manager engagement; ensure adherence to standards, policies, and procedures.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with legal/regulatory, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.

• Drive peak efficiency with customer satisfaction as the top priorityorganize, direct, and train teams while setting and managing operational goals.
• Maintain clear SOPs for product handling and storage, equipment utilization, inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
• Develop problem-solvers who can address day-to-day issues and achieve both short- and long-term performance targets.
• Oversee daily operations while controlling inventory accuracy and logistics flow.
• Plan workflow, staffing, space requirements, and equipment layout; build action plans that meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
• Enforce a safe, healthy workplace by establishing, following, and enforcing procedures aligned with legal regulations.

• 3+ years in an operations management role overseeing hourly employees.
• Ability to read and interpret industry specifications, charts, and tables.
• High school diploma required; BA preferred.
• Strong problem-solving capability and proven leadership.
• Comfortable providing frequent, direct written and verbal feedback.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
• Outstanding customer service orientation and communication skills.
• 3+ years of PVF industry experience preferred.
