The job

You run the building. Hitters Spokane is a batting cage and golf simulator bar: cages, Trackman golf, food, a full bar, parties and leagues. We want one person who owns it day to day, makes the calls, and keeps the place full, clean and working. Our Liberty Lake manager will check in with you, but the store is yours.

What you'll do

•Lead the team. Hire, train, schedule and coach the staff. Write the weekly schedule, cover gaps, and set the standard for how customers get treated.

•Run the floor. Open, close, work shifts alongside your crew, handle problems as they come up, and keep the bar and kitchen running smoothly.

•Keep the building working. Inspect the nets, cages, pitching machines, simulators and screens, fix what you can, and get the rest fixed before a customer notices.

•Own inventory. Make sure counts are done and accurate, order food, drinks and supplies, and keep waste down.

•Run leagues and events. Set up and run our golf and baseball leagues, keep standings current, and host parties and group events so they go off without a hitch.

•Manage vendors. Set up and maintain relationships with food, beverage, maintenance and service vendors, and make sure deliveries and repairs happen on time.

•Grow the store. Watch the numbers, push memberships, parties and leagues, and bring ideas that get more people through the door.

Who we're looking for

•Two or more years managing a restaurant, bar, entertainment venue or similar business, with responsibility for a team and a schedule.

•Comfortable making decisions without waiting for permission, and honest about what happened when one goes wrong.

•Handy. You can troubleshoot a pitching machine, fix a net, or figure out which vendor to call.

•Organized with inventory, ordering and cash handling.

•Good with people, on both sides of the counter.

•Evenings and weekends are our busy hours, so your schedule follows the customers.

•21 or older, with or able to get a Washington MAST permit and a food worker card.
