Property & Casualty Insurance Account Manager

Role Description This full-time, on-site Property & Casualty Account Manager role is based in Baton Rouge, LA. The individual in this position will manage a portfolio of personal lines, property and casualty accounts, including processing renewals, endorsements, and policy changes. Responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, providing coverage guidance, preparing proposals, and ensuring accurate documentation in agency management systems. The Account Manager will coordinate with carriers on underwriting, quotes, and claims, while monitoring deadlines and compliance requirements. The role also involves identifying cross-selling opportunities, supporting producers with new business, and maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients and company partners.

Qualifications

• Must have active property & casualty insurance license for the State of Louisiana.
• Minimum of 5 years of property & casualty insurance experience, including account management for personal lines.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and build long-term relationships.
• Proficiency with EZLynx (preferred, but not required) or an agency management system, standard office software, and accurate data entry.
• Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills to review policies, identify coverage needs, and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members, carriers, and clients in a professional, respectful manner.
