We build quality into every component we ship. As a Precision CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator, you’ll be a key contributor in our advanced shop, producing parts to exacting standards while partnering with a collaborative crew that values efficiency and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Create, edit, and optimize programs for CNC lathes; complete setups and run parts to spec.
- Interpret blueprints/technical drawings to define tooling, workholding, and machining paths.
- Monitor operations, adjust offsets, and fine-tune parameters to sustain quality output.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Verify part accuracy and surface finish using precision measurement tools.
- Collaborate across the team to improve processes, reduce waste, and boost throughput.
- Keep your station organized and safe to maximize productivity.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining certificates or a technical degree are a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in CNC turning roles (lathe setup, programming, operation).
- Ability to read/interpret prints and specifications with confidence.
- Strong command of CNC programming concepts and machine operation.
- Comfort with calipers, micrometers, and other precision gaging.
- Detail orientation and practical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a fast-paced team setting.
