Action Property Management is seeking aFull-time Temporary Building Engineer to join our team at our luxury association, West Ocean in Long Beach.
Compensation: $35 to #37 per hour
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Summary:
The Temporary Building Engineer is will be responsible for helping move some long-standing projects forward. Someone with HVAC and plumbing experience is preferred.
What You’ll Do (Job Duties)
- Responsible for maintaining, correcting defencies, and/or making repairs to all common areas within the Association
- Oversee all facets of the daily operations of the building, ensuring compliance with HOA policies and regulations as required by code and regulatory enforcement agencies.
- Monitor and maintain optimum performance of all building systems to include mechanical, electrical/electronic, fire life safety, smoke control, security, HVAC, and water circulation system.
- Coordinate and interact with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely maintenance and repairs, as well as adherence to quality standards.
Who You Are
(Skills/Experience)- Minimum of 3 years of onsite high rise or mid-rise building engineer experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, or commercial property management.
- Familiarity with the Uniform Commercial Building Code; HOA experience is a plus.
- HVAC CertificationEPA/608 LicenseFire Pump Certificate preferredFire Life Safety Director Certificate preferredValid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Hands-on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting experience.
- Experience in fire system management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player attitude.
