What you'll do a day in the shop
You’ll turn interrelated wiring schematics, assembly drawings, and detailed Bills of Materials into fully wired, tested control panels. Your day starts by reviewing prints, confirming components, and organizing the build. As work progresses, you’ll coordinate workload and schedules in the panel shop, guide processes to keep projects moving, and ensure every assembly meets our standards.

- Assemble and wire industrial control panels from drawings and schematics.
- Oversee shop workload, basic scheduling, and process flow to meet commitments.
- Verify pulled components against the BOM; identify and report nonconforming/failed parts.
- Keep your personal tool inventory in top condition and ready for use.
- Partner with adjacent teams to remove blockers and maintain project momentum.
- Perform functional testing on completed systems and document results.
- Handle Moto Control setup as part of commissioning activities.
- Capture quality data by completing required QC records and test forms.

What you bringRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude with excellent manual dexterity.
- Hands-on experience with common hand tools.
- Self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision and shows initiative.
- Motivated to learn and advance skills.
- Capable of lifting 50–75 pounds.
- Adaptable to shifting priorities; comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
- Professional communication plus solid organization and documentation habits.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience setting up PLC instrumentation.
- 1–2 years in a related production environment, a two-year technical degree, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
