We're looking for a
Project Parts Controller to support a variety of innovative projects by ensuring materials, inventory, and information are accurate, organized, and available when needed. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Work location: Duluth, MN
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Occasional weekend OT needs during major projects
Pay: $25 to $30 per hour, based on experience
Long term with potential for permanent
What You'll Do- Coordinate project materials and ensure they are available to support project timelines and milestones
- Track inventory, material availability, shortages, and project readiness
- Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to communicate updates, risks, and priorities
- Manage material transfers between warehouses, production areas, and project locations
- Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies when issues arise
- Maintain ERP transactions, inventory records, and reporting with a high level of accuracy
- Support cycle counts, audits, inventory cleanup projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond quickly to urgent material needs and help resolve shortages before they impact schedules
- Help maintain organized, compliant, and audit ready inventory processes
What Makes You a Great Fit- You have experience in inventory control, manufacturing, warehouse operations, project coordination, purchasing, supply chain, or related environments
- You are comfortable using Microsoft Excel and ERP or MRP systems
- Education is welcomed, but relevant skills and experience will be the key to success in this role
- You operate with honesty, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership
- You can juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities without losing track of important details
- You are organized and naturally keep systems, projects, and information well managed
- You are a self-starter who enjoys learning new processes and taking initiative
- You adapt well when priorities shift and can stay focused in a fast paced environment
- You communicate effectively with a variety of teams and personalities
- You enjoy problem solving and finding practical solutions
