This role focuses on operating and maintaining precision grinding equipment used to manufacture high-quality metal wires for demanding applications in medical, aerospace, automotive, and other industries. You will work on the bar side of production, setting up and running grinding lines, monitoring processes, and supporting additional equipment on the shop floor to ensure consistent quality and throughput.
ResponsibilitiesThe organization offers a welcoming, family-like atmosphere where personality, culture, and ethical behavior are valued just as highly as technical skills. Team members benefit from growth opportunities and the chance to advance as they develop their capabilities. The facility features modern, new machines and a clean, largely climate-controlled production environment that supports comfort and safety. When hired on a permanent basis, employees can look forward to strong benefits and long-term stability within a company that emphasizes dependability, core values, and mutual respect.
Work EnvironmentThe production floor is clean and well-organized, with approximately 80% of the area climate controlled for a comfortable working environment. One production area includes two large ovens, but the temperature in that area remains manageable. Operators work with modern grinding lines, furnace equipment, ultrasonic (UT) lines, and precision measuring tools such as gauges and calipers. Personal protective equipment includes safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and gloves when needed. There is no fixed lunch break; employees have the flexibility to eat between operating cycles and should plan to bring their own lunch. Shift options include a first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and a second shift from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., supporting consistent production coverage in a structured yet supportive environment.
