Reports To: First Shift Supervisor
Purpose:
Responsible for performing daily operations within the Randoms department to ensure customer orders are processed, packaged, and prepared for shipment accurately and on time.
Randoms Operator Responsibilities:
Process orders accurately and in accordance with customer requirements
Stage materials to maintain department workflow
Package materials appropriately for shipment
Load trucks as needed
Prioritize work in an efficient manner
Handle materials safely and responsibly
Randoms Operator Requirements include but are not limited to:
Building of skids, pallets, boxes, etc. as required for shipment of company products
Operating forklifts, sideloaders, cranes, and other department equipment as authorized
Participating in department and facility housekeeping activities to maintain a clean work environment
Adherence to all established safety procedures and required PPE
Skills and Abilities:
Able to read and understand order documents
Able to communicate effectively with team members and management
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced work environment
Strong attention to detail
