Machine Operator- Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
Job Description
We have immediate openings for individuals with familiarity withSurface Mount (SMT) Operations. These positions load and/or run the Surface Mount Placement machine (Pick and Place) to manufacture printed circuit board assemblies. Opportunities available on 1st and 2nd shift.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Read and follow production documents to fully understand the project at hand.
- Prep boards, mask, glue, and program screen-printer.
- Load feeders and magazines to ensure machine optimization.
- Verify component and manufacturing part number accuracy against B.O.M.
- Evaluate components for conformance and sufficient quantity.
- Perform preventative and general maintenance on machines.
- Keep an accurate count of product at your workstation while inspecting every piece for defects

Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
- Mydata, Mycronic, Juki, and Europlacer software experience preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
