Minutes later, you’re in the seat of a dozer or skid steer, shaping pads, dialing in slopes, and keeping production moving safely alongside a tight-knit construction crew. This role is real site preparation and earthmovingnot simply loading or material handling.
What you’ll tackle
- Operate skid steers and dozers to perform site prep, earthmoving, and both rough and finish grading
- Read grade stakes and maintain proper elevations across pads, swales, and slopes
- Work efficiently with a field crew while prioritizing safety and clear communication
- Perform basic equipment care and daily walk-arounds to keep machines in top condition
What you bring
- Hands-on experience operating skid steers and dozers
- Basic to intermediate grading skills (expert level not required)
- Comfort working outdoors in changing weather with a dependable, team-first work ethic
- Familiarity with grade stakes, slopes, and elevations and the discipline to hold grade
- A strong commitment to safety and equipment maintenance
Compensation
Pay starts at $18.00/HR and increases based on experience. Candidates with stronger equipment operating and grading experience will be considered for higher starting pay.
