Overview
Metro Trafix is looking for a full-time Project Manager/Senior Traffic Engineer role in Metropolitan Atlanta.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for Project Manager/Senior Traffic Engineer at Metro Trafix located in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some remote work. The Project Manager/Senior Traffic Engineer will be responsible for managing and leading traffic studies, signal/ITS design, signing and marking design and related services on projects of various sizes and complexities.
Qualifications
- Minimum six years (preferably 10+ years) of relevant experience in traffic/transportation engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- PE license (PTOE certification is a plus)
- Proficiency in OpenRoads and/or MicroStation and understanding of GDOT Electronic Data Guidelines (EDG)
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of GDOT Traffic Signal Design Guidelines, ITS Design Guidelines, Signing and Marking Design Guidelines
- Experience with traffic data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as a team
- Excellence in leadership and decision making skills
- Characteristics to motivate, inspire others (especially younger staff with less experience) through mentorship, training and knowledge sharing
