D. Pratt Frameris looking for apart-time or full-time Sales & Design Associatefor our Kittery, Maine and Rye, New Hampshire locations.

Most of our clients come to us because they trust us to look at their artwork, see its possibilities, and guide them toward the right solution.

We’re looking for someone with a strong natural sense of design who enjoys discovering what a work of art could become. Someone who can develop ideas on the fly, understand color, proportion, scale, and materials, and confidently explainwhya particular solution works.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Curious, creative, and confident
• Naturally personable and comfortable leading a conversation
• Someone withgreat taste and an eye for quality
• Able to explain design ideas clearly and persuasively
• Comfortable presenting exceptional options when they’re right for the artwork
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn

Experience indesign, art, interiors, fashion, photography, architecture, high-end retail, or a similar fieldis a plus. Picture framing experience is helpful, butnot required. We can teach you the framing skills. What is much harder to teach is great taste, curiosity, creativity, and the ability to connect with a customer.

And yes...

Ability to read a ruler is a must.We’re serious about that one.

D. Pratt Framer is led by David Pratt, MCPF, and Becky Florence, MCPFtwo of fewer than 100 Master Certified Picture Framers practicing worldwide.

MCPF is the highest level of professional certification offered by the Professional Picture Framers Association, reflecting extensive experience, advanced technical knowledge, and demonstrated expertise in preservation framing.

We’re a creative, hands-on team that takesdesign, craftsmanship, and our clients seriouslyand we’re looking for someone who wants to bring their own creativity and ideas to the mix.
