Now Hiring:RNNurse Educator Infection Preventionist

Responsibilities:

• Providing professional and technical guidance to subordinate nursing staff and participates in all management functions of the nursing department

• IP collaborates and consults with physicians, managers, and staff for the management and prevention of infectious diseases.

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct all staff development educational programs throughout the facility.

• Providing learning opportunities that will enable all employees to gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to perform their assigned duties safely and effectively.

• Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Qualifications:

• 2yrs Long Term Care Supervisory Experience Required

• CDC Infection Control training Certified (or willing to obtain within 60d)

• Ability to work independently or part of a group

• Communication skills

• Computer knowledge.

License:

• Must have an active RN Registered Nurse license
