**Position Details

**Job Title:
** Coating OperatorLocation: 717 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01605Pay: $22.00/hr. + applicable shift differentialSchedule: 40 hours/week
**Available Shifts:

**2nd Shift
**
2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
**10% shift differential
**
**3rd Shift
**
11:30 PM – 8:00 AM
**13% shift differential
**
*Training will likely be conducted on 1st shift.

**Job Responsibilities
**
Operate coating and laminating machinery to coat or laminate film according to customer specifications.
Set and adjust machine temperature, airflow, speed, tension, and threading.
Load raw materials onto machines using a hand crank or hydraulic lift.
Work with silicone, non-silicone, and adhesive mixes.
Monitor coating quality and perform visual inspections for defects, scratches, and other issues.
Follow work orders, process folders, and customer specifications.
Make machine adjustments and perform basic troubleshooting when needed.
Perform basic measurements and calculations involving weight, volume, distance, and conversions.
Use basic hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and socket set when required.
Follow all manufacturing and safety procedures, including required PPE.
**Requirements
**
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
**12–18 months of manufacturing experience
**, depending on the type of coating machinery operated.
Experience working with heavy machinery or industrial equipment is strongly preferred.
Ability to read and understand work instructions and process specifications.
Comfortable performing basic math calculations.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. independently and assist with moving plastic film rolls up to 200 lbs.
Ability to work around moving machinery, noise, heat, fumes, and airborne dust.
Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
