Responsibilities
- Lead quality improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Investigate quality concerns using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support and improve Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Lead CAPA, NCR, and customer quality investigations.
- Conduct PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, Gage R&R, and process capability studies.
- Support new product launches (NPI), PPAP, validation activities, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and Production teams.
- Participate in internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or similar quality systems.
- Knowledge of CAPA, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement.
- Experience working with cross-functional manufacturing teams.
- Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Medical device, plastics, machining, automotive, consumer products, or food manufacturing experience is welcomed.
