Location: Cleveland, OH
Salary: $110,000 - $220,000 (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and support electrical power systems for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects (including data centers and ground-up new construction). The role focuses on power distribution, switchgear and transformer selection, protection and coordination studies, submittal and shop drawing review, and construction support to ensure safe, code-compliant installations that meet performance and energy objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Designed and supported electrical power distribution systems, equipment selection, and power system studies.
- Coordinated electrical design deliverables, submittals, vendors, and code compliance.
- Supported construction, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and FATs.
- Collaborated with MEP teams, contractors, and owners on project execution and schedules.
- Developed cost estimates, value engineering solutions, and safety plans including LOTO procedures.
- Provided technical support for mission-critical facilities and data centers, focusing on reliability, redundancy, and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering; EIT/PE preferred.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, and data center projects.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, switchgear, transformers, and HV/LV systems.
- Familiarity with NEC/IEEE standards, power studies, and system analysis.
- Experience with submittals, commissioning, construction administration, and safety/LOTO practices.
- Proficient with AutoCAD/Revit, ETAP/SKM, estimating tools, and multidisciplinary coordination.
