Part-Time | Friday–Sunday | Nights, 4:00 PM–Close
Pay: $12–$17/hour
Point 9 Trailside Eatery is looking for a dependable and guest-focusedShift Supervisor / Leadto help oversee evening operations and ensure every guest has an exceptional experience.
This is primarily aleadership and guest-experience position, focused on keeping the shift running smoothly, supporting the team, addressing guest needs, and ensuring the restaurant is operating safely and according to standards. While the primary responsibility is leading the shift, the Shift Supervisor / Leadmay be called upon to take tables, serve, or bartend as needed to support the team and maintain smooth operations.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary leadership presence during assigned shifts.
- Make sure guests are welcomed, cared for, and having a positive experience.
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and service issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Check in with guests throughout the shift and take ownership of resolving issues when needed.
- Monitor the team to ensure associates are completing their responsibilities and following restaurant standards.
- Keep the team organized, focused, and working together throughout the shift.
- Communicate expectations clearly and provide support and direction to associates.
- Help maintain a positive, professional, and energetic environment.
- Monitor the restaurant throughout service to ensure cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation meet expectations.
- Assist with operational needs and communicate important information to management.
- Complete end-of-night responsibilities and ensure the restaurant is properly secured.
- Verify that doors, equipment, and other designated areas are locked and secured before leaving.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and closing protocols.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of leadership experiencein any industry,OR
- 5+ years of serving and/or bartending experiencewith a demonstrated ability to lead.
- Leadership experience doesnothave to come from a restaurant environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable addressing guest concerns and finding solutions.
- Confident giving direction and holding team members accountable.
- Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Calm and professional under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions independently.
- Team-oriented attitude with a genuine commitment to excellent guest service.
- Must be availableFriday–Sunday nights, 4:00 PM–close.
