Founded in 1959, HECO is a family-owned company focused on maximizing the reliability and performance of rotating equipment. Through repair, product sales, field service, predictive maintenance, and equipment management, we help our customers understand the issue, fix it right, and prevent it from happening again.

Our organization has grown through strategic partnerships with Warwood Armature and Fife-Pearce Electric Company, combining over 168 years of expertise in electric motor and rotating equipment services. Fife-Pearce, family-owned since 1923, adds specialized capabilities in magnetic chuck repair and controls and has expanded our Metro Detroit Service Center operations into a larger, state-of-the-art facility.

Together, we serve a wide range of industries, including power generation, metals, mining, paper, wastewater, OEM manufacturing, and more.

Job description:

Entry level Laborer position in Wheeling, WV. This position can lead to additional responsibilities and growth within the organization.

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Compensation: $18-22/HR

What You'll Do:

• Using pressure washer and soap, wash electric motor parts
• Use forklift to move parts from one area to another
• Operate cranes to load heavy parts in and out of wash booth
• Load cleaned parts into oven for baking process
• Clean varnish off of mechanical fits after varnish or VPI dipping process
• Prep parts prior to assembly by mechanics using air powered tools
• Other responsibilities as required
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to show up on time and work a complete shift of 8 to 10 hours, as required.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with motors, pumps, fans, and gearboxes
