Software Engineer (LATAM)

This is a full-stack Software Engineer role at an AI training data company building the data layer that teaches frontier models how experts think and reason. You will be one of the first engineering hires in LATAM, working directly with the founding team to build and scale complex data-capturing workflows across web and desktop environments. Your work will have immediate and lasting impact on both product and engineering culture.

• Build and scale complex data-capturing workflows across a web front end (Next.js) and desktop tooling (Python).
• Architect and optimize high-throughput data pipelines designed to handle heavy, sustained loads.
• Collaborate closely with the founding team to define product strategy and ship features quickly.
• Set engineering best practices and lay the architectural groundwork for future team growth.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers as the LATAM team expands.

• 3 or more years of professional experience building and scaling data workflows in production environments, with demonstrated full-stack depth rather than a predominantly front-end profile.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (Next.js, React) for front-end and Node.js/Python for back-end development.
• Hands-on experience architecting and optimizing high-throughput data pipelines.
• Experience with serverless architecture and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience with data streaming and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with in-memory data stores (Redis) and search/analytics tooling (Elasticsearch).
• Strong CS fundamentals, ideally from a rigorous academic or professional background.
• Ability to work remotely from LATAM and align with US working hours.
• Authorization to work without visa sponsorship.

Salary range: $60,000 to $90,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Fully remote from LATAM, with alignment to US working hours required.
