SegPay is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team and help ensure the reliability and quality of our products.
In this role, you'll develop comprehensive testing strategies, identify and troubleshoot issues, collaborate closely with developers, and help ensure our software performs as intended before reaching production. We're looking for someone who can dig into the details, think critically, and take ownership of quality from beginning to end.

What You'll DoDevelop, document, and maintain functional test cases and testing artifacts
Create comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases
Develop and maintain test data, validation processes, harness scripts, and automated scripts
Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with Development on resolutions
Write clear, detailed, and accurate defect summaries
Plan, prioritize, estimate, and coordinate quality-testing activities
Help ensure quality standards are maintained across product lines
The position is responsible for QA across product lines and includes both hands-on testing and coordination of quality activities.
What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
7+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience
Experience creating clear, comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on black-box testing experience
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
Experience with backend database testing in a Microsoft SQL environment
Experience validating stored procedures, jobs, and triggers
QA experience within billing or e-commerce
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
You have an eye for details others might miss and aren't afraid to dig deeper when something doesn't look right.
You're organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You can communicate issues clearly to technical teams, work independently when needed, and collaborate effectively when solving complex problems.
