Structural Foreman – Atlanta, GA
We are looking for an experienced Structural Foreman to join a growing construction team in the Atlanta area. This position will oversee structural work on tenant finish-out and renovation projects for large warehouse, distribution, and industrial facilities.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong structural steel experience who can manage crews, coordinate daily field activities, and keep projects moving safely and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise structural crews on active job sites
- Perform and oversee structural steel welding and installation
- Structural modifications, reinforcement, and miscellaneous steel work
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and daily work activities
- Work around existing warehouse and distribution operations
- Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and other trades
- Maintain quality, productivity, and jobsite safety standards
- Assist with layout, field modifications, and troubleshooting
Requirements
- Previous Foreman or Lead experience in commercial or industrial construction
- Strong structural steel welding experience required
- Experience with tenant finish-outs, renovations, or warehouse/distribution facilities preferred
- Ability to read structural drawings and plans
- Strong leadership and crew-management skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and jobsite safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
- Welding certifications are a plus
