Estrella Insurance is an established independent insurance agency in Hollywood, Florida, serving a large and active book of personal and commercial insurance customers. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our growing customer base by managing policy servicing, renewals, and new business sales.
This role combines customer service with sales and account management responsibilities, working across multiple insurance carriers to help customers find competitive coverage that fits their needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and able to build strong relationships with a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, professional customer service to personal and commercial insurance clients
- Process policy renewals and follow up on pending cancellations to retain coverage
- Handle policy servicing requests, including changes, endorsements, and general account maintenance
- Quote new and renewal business across multiple insurance carriers
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to expand customer coverage
- Generate and close new business sales
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in agency management systems
- Communicate effectively with customers in both English and Spanish
Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
- Prior experience working in an insurance agency is required
- Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
- Comfortable managing a busy and varied customer workload
- Florida insurance license (4-40, 20-44, or 2-20) strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
