We are seeking a creative, energetic Executive Chef to take the lead in a high-volume restaurant operation. This is an opportunity for a culinary leader who brings strong fundamentals but also has fresh ideas, new energy, and the drive to elevate a kitchen.
We’re open to an established Executive Chef or a talented Executive Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or emerging culinary leader who is ready to take the next step.
This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to maintain what's already in place. We want a chef who is excited to develop people, bring ideas to the table, improve execution, and create food that keeps guests coming back.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all BOH operations with a visible, hands-on presence in the kitchen
- Bring fresh ideas to menus, specials, presentation, and overall culinary execution
- Develop seasonal dishes while maintaining consistency and profitability
- Coach, train, and develop a strong culinary team
- Build a kitchen culture centered around accountability, teamwork, and pride
- Manage food cost, labor, inventory, purchasing, and waste
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, sanitation, and organization
- Work closely with restaurant leadership to improve the overall guest experience
- Identify opportunities to improve kitchen systems, efficiency, and execution
- Recruit and develop culinary talent while building a strong leadership bench
Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience
- Executive Chef experience is welcome, but strong Executive Sous Chefs and Chefs de Cuisine ready for the next step are encouraged to apply
- High-volume restaurant experience
- Creative culinary mindset with the ability to turn ideas into executable, profitable dishes
- Strong understanding of food cost, labor management, purchasing, and inventory
- Hands-on leadership styleyou’re comfortable working alongside your team
- Ability to develop people and create accountability without losing the positive culture
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Passion for food and an interest in evolving menus rather than simply maintaining them
- Culinary degree is a plus, but real-world experience matters more
