Responsibilities: Job includes the proper movement (physically/systematically) of inventory from warehouse to manufacturing. Primary duties include transfer of parts to designated work cells, in manufacturing, utilizing radio frequency (RF) device. The main role of a material handler is to maintain adequate stock levels in each cell that they support.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Adherence of all safety guidelines required by Scott Safety
• Accurately and properly transfer parts to designated work cells within each assigned work zone
• Build and supply some smaller sub-assemblies to the final assembly cells
• Be aware of and advise Team Leader/Supervisor of any potential material issues that could affect production
• Be a team player and be able to communicate effectively with Team Leaders in the various assembly cells
• Performs additional duties and functions as directed by the Supervisor

Experience/Qualifications:

Required: General capabilities in computer;

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

PIV experience required

Education/Training Requirements:

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Computer skills; any type of warehouse experience
