Component-Level Electronics Troubleshooting Technician

DirectPath is partnering with a fast-scaling client to add an expert who loves finding the root cause of issues at the component level. If bench diagnostics, precision soldering, and clear documentation are your strengths, this role is built for you.

You power up, review the fault report, and start isolating the problem. You methodically work through the circuit, perform targeted tests, and identify exactly which component is failingand why. You collaborate with engineers to validate fixes, document your findings with precision, and recommend the most effective path forward. Then you steady your hand and execute reliable solder work to bring the hardware back to life.

• Analyze electrical systems and perform precise diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot issues down to the component level.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to resolve technical challenges.
• Maintain accurate records and propose effective solutions.
• Apply strong soldering skills to rework and repair as needed.

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven history of troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and test methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
