Maintenance Manager – DIRECT HIRE

Are you a hands-on maintenance leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead a skilled team, drive equipment reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, VFD, pneumatic, and automated systems

Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs

Drive downtime reduction, root-cause analysis, and process improvements

Oversee maintenance projects, inventory, vendors, and contractors

Ensure safe operations and compliance with company standards

HANDS ON - willing to turn a wrench when needed

What We're Looking For

3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience

5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience

Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation systems

Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs

Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work alongside technicians and lead by example

Preferred Experience

? Manufacturing environments such as foam, fiber, textiles, or continuous-process production

? Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives

? Fabrication, welding, and industrial automation experience

This is a Permanent position based out of Hickory, NC.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
