The Senior Cyber Solution Engineer is the technical architect and authority for the firm’s security services. This role is responsible for the design, customization and automation of security platforms and solutions, leading the delivery of those solutions to varied clients, and acting as the technical "face" of the company during sales and executive briefings.
Core Responsibilities:
- Service Design: Mastery of NDR platforms and definition of "Gold Image" configurations for all client deployments.
- Architecture & Automation: Build-out of complex API integrations between NDR tools and ticketing systems to streamline operations.
- Strategic Advisory & Sales: Act as the technical authority during high-value sales calls and translate technical concepts (e.g., "lateral movement") into business-risk language for leadership.
- Leadership: Demonstrated project management and team leadership experience in a customer-facing capacity.
Requirements
- Experience: 6+ years cybersecurity experience with a track record of leadership or project management
- Advanced Python scripting, cloud networking, and mastery of LogScale, Zeek, and Suricata
- Advanced Threat hunting experience
- Advanced log and packet analysis experience
- Strong familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, and SASE with preferred experience in multiple products per solution class
- In addition to customer-facing experience in previous roles, demonstrated project management and team leadership experience is demonstrated
Preferred:
- Consulting and/or technical sales experience
- Clearance - Secret or higher
Education:
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or an MBA with a technical focus.
- Or 8+ years of industry experience with a portfolio of contributed open-source security tools or documented architecture projects.
Preferred Certifications: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM; GNFA (GIAC Network Forensic Analyst) or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

A reasonable compensation range for this position is $110-130k, in addition to benefits including medical, dental, vision, long term and short term disability, 401(k) and PTO.
