Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional automotive service to our customers, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension components, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain assemblies.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and fluid replacements to ensure vehicle longevity.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and techniques to execute repairs efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), automotive electrical systems, and electronic control modules.
- Skilled in diesel engine repair, transmission overhaul, automotive suspension system repair, and brake repair.
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with oil changes, wheel alignments, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
- Experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on quality workmanship and safety standards.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics is a plus for working on larger vehicles or specialized machinery.
- Spanish speakers is a plus, but not required.
