Job title:Mail Processor
Duration : 12+ Months (possible extension)
Location :Birmingham, AL
Pay range: $15-$17/hr on W2

Job Description :

• 1-5 years' experience. Receive and sort incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
  Ensure that all mail is properly labeled and distributed to the appropriate recipients within the organization.
• Prepare outgoing mail, including letters, packages, and parcels. Apply postage and ensure proper documentation is attached.
• Review, Prep, and Send Certified and First-Class Mail.
• Process certified and first-class mail, ensuring it is dispatched in a timely and accurate manner. Handle overflow duties such as assist with additional tasks that may impact mailroom operations, such as office supply management or equipment maintenance.
• Regularly take mail to the post office, ensuring it is sent before deadlines to meet postal requirements. Take charge of mailroom operations in the absence of the Facilities Manager, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted mailroom services.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks, like data entry and record-keeping. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the mailroom area. Additional duties as assigned.
