Griswold Home Care is hiring experienced, dependable caregivers to support clients with higher-acuity personal care needs, including clients who require assistance with a mechanical or Hoyer lift.
We have opportunities throughout Southwest Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and Morrisville, with shifts ranging from 1 to 12 hours.

What We Offer

Caregiver Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary depending on each client’s care plan and may include:
- Safely operating a mechanical or Hoyer lift
- Assisting with transfers, mobility, and repositioning
- Providing hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
- Supporting clients who require extensive or total assistance with daily activities
- Following transfer and fall-prevention procedures
- Providing companionship and supervision
- Preparing meals and providing medication reminders
- Performing light housekeeping
- Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition
- Following the client’s care plan and communicating concerns to the Griswold office
- Providing two-person assistance when required by the care plan
Requirements
- Previous hands-on caregiving experience
- Experience safely using a mechanical or Hoyer lift
- Comfortable assisting clients with complex personal care and mobility needs
- CNA or PCA certification is strongly preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Current TB test or willingness to obtain one
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Dependable, compassionate, professional, and safety-focused
- Able to perform the physical responsibilities of the position safely
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Griswold team
