The Opportunity:
You will serve as the primary onsite leader for award-winning, complex building initiatives across Massachusetts. This role gives you direct control over field execution, driving major institutional and commercial projects from mobilization through final closeout. You will empower field teams, uphold strict quality standards, and shape the physical landscape of local communities with an ENR Top 100 Green Contractor.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Orchestrate daily onsite construction operations to keep complex commercial and municipal builds safe, productive, and on schedule.
- Drive the master project timeline by proactively enforcing milestone dates and subcontractor performance metrics.
- Direct multi-trade field crews, suppliers, and subcontractors to maximize jobsite efficiency and quality workmanship.
- Implement rigorous safety, quality control, and logistics plans to protect site personnel and maintain project standards.
- Conduct regular trade coordination meetings to align subcontractors and resolve site logistics challenges before delays occur.
- Formulate accurate daily field progress reports covering manpower, materials, weather, and key operational activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License.
- Proven track record managing large-scale commercial, institutional, or public works construction projects.
- Extensive experience coordinating multiple trade disciplines and managing site logistics.
- Advanced skill in reading, interpreting, and reinforcing contract drawings and specifications.
- Ability to travel up to 20% to project sites located outside a 30-mile radius.
- Must be able to pass a background check (CORI)
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate degree or higher in Construction Management, Building Technology, or related discipline.
- 7+ years of dedicated experience as a Construction Superintendent on ground-up commercial or federal builds.
- Professional certifications in safety and technical operations including OSHA, Fall Protection, or Lift Operations.
- Hands-on proficiency with construction management platforms like Procore and scheduling software.
