Overview

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and dedicated to producing high-quality products. This role is essential to our production line, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain packaging machinery according to established procedures and specifications.
• Set up machines (calibration, loading materials, adjusting controls) for production runs.
• Conduct routine checks during the production process to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions, performing minor maintenance or adjustments as necessary.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they are properly packaged and labeled.
• Complete production documentation, including logs, reports, and maintenance records.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth workflow and address production issues.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting is strongly preferred

Skills:

• Ability to operate and monitor machinery effectively.
• Basic troubleshooting skills to address production issues.
• Ability to follow work instructions and read technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail for quality control.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required by the role.
• Must be able to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
