Part-Time Cook – Weekend Shift
Location: Kinston, NC
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Join the team at Methodist Home for Children’s new Juvenile Crisis and Assessment Center in Kinston, NC. We provide a safe, stable environment for youth ages 10–17, helping guide them toward brighter futures. We're currently hiring a Part-Time Cook to support this mission.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for youth and staff

• Plan menus that meet USDA and NC Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines

• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment

• Order and track food supplies

• Support cultural diversity in meal planning

What You Bring:

• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year of experience in food preparation (especially for large groups)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Willingness to complete required training (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
