Responsibilities:
- Assistcustomers (in person or over the phone) during the sales process; up sellcomplementary products
- Correctly enterthe customer order in the computer system
- Maintainan awareness of all product knowledge information (including product catalogs, price sheets, etc.), merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements; marketall products sold and suggestreplacement/alternative products when appropriate
- Maintaina working knowledge of the entire sales process from start to finish (including the order, billing, delivery and payment processes)
- Assistin maintaining the counter, merchandising and product display area assuring a safe, clean and orderly environment;assembleand stockproduct displays and shelves and preparecustomer refreshments
- Assistin warehouse duties such as stocking, labeling shelves, restocking show room, inventory of goods, cycle counting, etc. in a manner which assures an orderly and safe work environment
- Assistwith the shipping and receiving processes as needed including training on the UPS shipment process
- Occasionally operatea forklift to assist in warehouse duties
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in the electrical industry and/or familiarity with electrical equipment and power tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse and delivery operations
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
- Ability to work a Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. schedule
- Overtime may be required as needed
