As Business Development Associate in our North Region(Oshkosh, Appleton, Green Bay, Waupaca), you will play a key role in developing strategic partnerships with Post-Acute and Long-Term Care facilities and identifying new business opportunities. You will build and maintain relationships with prospective clients while collaborating closely with our Business Development team, and Operations, and Clinical Support teams to support organizational growth and achieve shared goals.
Business Development Associate Duties & Responsibilities
- Acute and Long-Term Care communities.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective partners within your assigned territory, identifying opportunities for Oak Medical to support their facility and care needs.
- Evaluate the market to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Maintain consistent communication with current and prospective partners through facility visits, email, phone calls, and other appropriate channels.
- Serve as a liaison between facility staff and Oak Medical team members to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide support and training related to Oak Medical’s communication platforms.
- Attend vendor events, coordinate displays, and represent Oak Medical’s care model and services in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with members of the Business Development team in the development and implementation of operational and strategic marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular updates on business development activities and progress to the Director of Business Development during scheduled team check-ins.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, organization, teamwork, and a genuine passion for the work and communities we serve.
- Other duties as assigned
Travel
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory, with less than 10% overnight travel.
- Occasional travel outside of territory as needed to support the Business Development team.
Required Education
- Associate degree in communications, marketing, or healthcare.
- Or a minimum of 3 years in business development, healthcare, or related experience.
Required Professional Qualifications
- Proven experience in a liaison, business development, relationship management, or similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
- Strong understanding of business management principles and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and self-sufficient, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance meeting applicable state requirements.
Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, healthcare, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in a Post-Acute care, or Long-term care setting.
