We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive General Manager to lead dealership operations and drive overall sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and employee development. The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of the dealership while working closely with department leaders and ownership to achieve business goals.

What You'll DoLead and oversee overall dealership operations and performance
Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales, gross profit, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals
Work closely with Sales, Finance, Service, Parts, and other departments to ensure effective dealership operations
Hire, train, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team
Establish clear expectations and hold department managers and employees accountable for performance
Monitor sales and financial performance, inventory, expenses, and other key dealership metrics
Review dealership reports and use data to identify opportunities for improvement
Build strong relationships with customers and ensure a positive customer experience
Promote a professional, team-oriented, and customer-focused work environment
Ensure dealership policies, procedures, and company standards are followed
Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and automotive industry requirements
Work with ownership and leadership to establish and implement business objectives
Support advertising, marketing, community involvement, and dealership promotional activities
Help identify opportunities to increase sales, improve processes, and strengthen overall dealership performance
Address employee and customer concerns professionally and effectively
Represent the dealership in the local community and build strong customer and business relationships
Participate in meetings, training, and occasional travel as needed
Previous automotive dealership management experience required
Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Strong understanding of dealership sales and operations
Experience managing dealership performance and financial results
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to set priorities and make sound business decisions
Strong customer service mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Professional appearance and demeanor
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
