Customer Service Representative

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our fast-paced office environment. This role supports customers and internal teams through a combination of customer service, data entry, administrative support, and account coordination. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic setting, can manage multiple priorities, and maintains accuracy while delivering excellent service.

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and internal communications.
• Accurately enter and maintain data within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Manage customer inquiries, follow-ups, and documentation.
• Support billing, reporting, and invoicing processes.
• Perform administrative tasks including printing, scanning, filing, and document management.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of client requests and regulatory deadlines.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks while adapting to changing priorities.

This position supports an environmental laboratory that serves a wide range of clients, including private organizations, government entities, and regulated industries. Due to the nature of the work, accuracy, responsiveness, and adherence to deadlines are critical. Employees play an important role in helping clients meet regulatory requirements related to environmental and public health standards.

Comprehensive training is provided, including hands-on instruction in the company's proprietary Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Previous LIMS experience is not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Paula, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Santa Paula,CA.
