About the Role: RUSS HADICK & ASSOCIATES INC is looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, IN. Responsibilities:- Develop and produce electrical design drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Perform electrical system analysis, load calculations, and circuit design
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (NEC, IEEE, etc.)
- Support project management by meeting deadlines and maintaining design documentation
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior staff
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design or engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and other relevant electrical codes and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- PE license or EIT certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
