THE OPPORTUNITY
Banner Defense is in search of an amazing Senior Signature/Data Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets and Countermeasures program in solid fuel debris model development and validation, pre- and post-flight trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support the development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight Tests
- Plan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities
- Contribute to development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes
- Deploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time within the required 24-hour (quick-look) timeframe, ensuring accuracy of data products
- Participate in target development and test planning activities such as Target System Readiness Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, and Target and Test Readiness Reviews, providing analysis and recommendations
- Prepare technical reports and/or briefings on various technical aspects of Flight Test Targets.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of experience OR
- Master's degree and 12+ years of experience
- Interim security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
- Experience in a minimum of two (2) of the following areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, geodesy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and with a team
- Some travel is required.
PREFERENCE IF YOU HAVE
- B.S. in Engineering or Physics highly desired
- M.S. in Engineering or Physics
- Active security clearance desired.
