The Role
TheWarehouseManager will oversee the daily operations of ourwarehouseto ensure efficient receipt, storage,staging, anddispatch of high-endsecurity and smarthometechnology equipment.
Thisleadership role ensuresoptimalinventory control,team management, andprocess improvement while delivering exceptional internalserviceto field andprojectteams. TheWarehouseManager is expected to embody andpromotethe company’s six core valuescollaborative,accountable,proactive, curious, passionate, and creativein every aspect of the role.
Responsibilities
- Leads and develops a high-performingwarehouseteam through clear communication, mentorship, and mutual respect.
- Works closely with Purchasing,ProjectManagement, FieldServices, andSalesto ensure inventory is aligned withprojecttimelines and priorities.
- Promotes a culture ofteamwork across all departments to support efficient operations and exceptional clientservice.
- Manages allwarehouseactivities including receiving, storing, inventory control, orderstaging, and shipping with precision and transparency.
- Ensures adherence to safetystandards,warehouseprotocols, and company policies.
- Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventoryaccuracy,staging timelines, and order fulfillment quality.
- Anticipates inventory needs based onprojectforecasts and business growth; communicateshortages or overstock risks before theyimpactoperations.
- Identifiesbottlenecks, inefficiencies, or potentialdisruptions and resolve them before they escalate.
- Maintains aproactive maintenance and cleanliness schedule forwarehouseorganization and safety.
- Explores new inventory management tools andwarehousetechnologies that improve operational effectiveness.
- Actively support the company’smission byensuring materials andlogisticsare handled with care and excellence.
- Createsinnovatewarehouselayouts, racking systems, and workflows that enhance speed,accuracy, and spaceutilization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associatedegree or equivalent training/certification preferred
- 5+ years of 5+ years ofwarehouseor inventory management experience, with atleast 2 years in aleadership role
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite)
- Ability to manage and motivateateam in a fast-paced,project-driven environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability tolearn our most utilized parts as well as be able toidentifymost of equipmentutilizedby thetechnicians
- Navigatethewarehouseand organize it efficiently is key
- Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent in-housejob management software
- Ability to organize largeprojects withseveral hundred pieces
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 60 lbs.
- May requirestanding or stooping for extended periods
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
