Thai Cook / Line Cook – Thai Kitchen

Thai Kitchen in Ames, Iowa is looking for a reliable and hardworking Thai Cook / Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook Thai dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
• Work efficiently on the line during busy lunch and dinner periods
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, vegetables, meats, and other food items
• Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
• Keep the kitchen and work station clean and organized
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
• Work closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members
• Help with food prep, inventory, and kitchen organization as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
• Experience cooking Thai or Asian cuisine is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Willing to learn and follow restaurant recipes and procedures
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of kitchen work

Schedule:
Full-time or part-time positions may be available.
Must be available for some evenings and weekends.

Pay:
Competitive pay based on experience.
