Position Overview-Maintenance Tech Apprentice
The Maintenance Technician Apprentice at Engineered Systems in Hoschton, GA will assist experienced technicians in the maintenance and repair of crane and hoist equipment. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and grow in the field of industrial maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of industrial crane and hoist systems.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and implementing solutions.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge in industrial maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve department goals.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of industrial equipment and systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to routinely lift, push/pull 50lbs.
