Job Title: Product Specialist Customer Service Representative Location: Lakewood, NJ Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $24/ hour Work Model: Onsite Hours: 8:30 am to 5 pm
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding product, product features, and troubleshooting
- Provide product information, installation support, and technical assistance to customers
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, diagnosing problems, and providing solutions
- Document customer interactions, including issues and resolutions, in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Coordinate with the technical support team to escalate complex technical issues
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Provide recommendations and guidance to customers on product selection and usage
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and satisfaction is achieved
- Identify recurring customer concerns and suggest improvements to products or services
- Stay updated on new products and product developments to provide accurate information
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Experience: 1–2 years of customer service experience
- Technical support experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple customer requests and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
